Google Extension Overview

A simple time tracker extension for Google Chrome browser. It is my personal project. I build this extension for my personal used. But you can download and use it for free. Often I have to log my working time and send the timesheet to my client. This extension serves my need. You may find some time tracker extensions that look like mine. I used to use them but sometimes it breaks or has some security warning and I can use it anymore.

• Store the time logs in your Google Chrome browser
• Multiple timers
• Edit the project, task and time
• Export all time logs to the CVS file
• No security issue in this extension

How to install the extension:

•  After downloading the extension, please extracts the zip file
• Open the Google Chrome Extension
• Open Extensions
• Click on “Developer mode” checkbox
• You will see a “Load unpacked extension…” button
• Click on “Load unpacked extension…” button
• Choose the unzipped folder from the first step and click the “ok” button
• Now you will see the simple time tracker extension on Extensions page and ready to use

Important note:

Because I don’t add my extension to Google Web Store, every time you open a new Chrome browser, you will see the message popup says “Disable developer mode extensions”. Simply ignore this message by pressing the Cancel button. Please email me if you find any issues or have some ideas for the next version.
